I have been happily married to Maj. Dave Johnson for 34 years. I am the proud mother of Michelle (a 2009 NHS graduate and 2013 Georgia Southern Graduate). I was born in Texas but grew up an Air Force "Brat". I have lived in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana (where I married my husband), California (where my daughter was born), Bahrain, Florida, and finally Georgia (since 2002). I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science, with a concentration in Microbiology from California State University, Stanislaus. I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary Education from the University of West Florida. Those who know me know that Science and teaching are my passions. I have been teaching at NHS for 22 years. I have taught Biology, Anatomy and Environmental Science. I love the students and staff here at NHS and can't imagine teaching anywhere else!
