Bio

Colonel Madeline Lopez is the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor for AFJROTC Unit GA 0062, and the Director of the Aerospace Science Department for Northside High School, Warner Robins, Georgia. She served in the Air Force on active duty for 30 years holding many executive leadership positions in aviation maintenance, industrial operations, life cycle logistics, program management, strategic supply chain management, education and training and curriculum development. Colonel Lopez has also served as an educator in four different Georgia public schools for the past 14 years. As the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at Northside High School, she directs the program management, curriculum implementation and course instruction for Aerospace Science 300/400 and Leadership Education 300/400. As such, she educates the upperclassmen cadets on leadership principles, citizenship, life skills and career opportunities, as well as Exploration of Space. Additionally, she instructs 4th year cadets in Fundamentals of Management and prepares senior cadets to lead and manage the cadet corps. As the Department Lead for the Aerospace Science Department, Colonel Lopez serves as the academic liaison between the school and district leadership, as well as the Air Force and key civilian agencies in the Aerospace Field.
