I grew up in Colorado and moved to New York City in 4th grade. I graduated from Townsend Harris High School. I attended college at SUNY Geneseo. I have a Master's from Walden University in Elementary in Reading and Math. I have been teaching for 17 years to include preschool, elementary, middle school and now high school. I am excited to be part of the Northside family. I am a firm believer that all students can learn. I try to use a hands on approach and teach to different learning styles. 

When I am not teaching I enjoy reading and running. I have ran multiple half marathons, marathons and the Dopey Challenge at Disney World. From running I have learned everything is possible with a little effort and lots of practice.

At home I am a proud military wife. We live with 2 children, 2 dogs, a cat and a turtle. As a family, we enjoy playing card games, swimming and going to the lake.
