Bio

I am Alexandria Varlack, and I’m honored to support our students and families as a school counselor here at Northside High School.  My journey in education began in 2016 when I started teaching elementary school. I loved working with students and helping them grow, which led me to follow my passion for counseling in 2022.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Public Health from Fort Valley State University. I later received my Master’s in School Counseling from Albany State University and an Educational Specialist degree from Piedmont University. I’m currently working toward my Doctorate in Educational Leadership to continue growing in this field and better serve our school community.

Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of two amazing sons who are my biggest inspiration. I enjoy traveling, learning new things, and spending time with family. Yes—I even consider being a student one of my hobbies!

I’m here to support our students socially, emotionally, and academically. I believe every student has the potential to succeed, and I’m excited to be part of their journey.
