• Graduated from Peach County High School.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a French minor from the University of Georgia.
• Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University
• 28 years teaching experience in Houson County
• 15 years at the middle school level in world language connections classes.
• 13 years at the high school level teaching French 1, 2, and 3 (NHS and WRHS)

Mr. Whatley taught at Tabor and Thompson middle schools from 1995-2010 before coming to NHS.

He loves singing, listening to music and podcasts, reading, hiking, walking, spending time with loved ones, gardening/yard work, and traveling.
